A sheriff’s office investigation was underway at a gated community in Oakland Park Monday morning.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the community off Northwest 21st Avenue where they surrounded and closed off one of the apartment buildings.

A detectives was seen going in and out of a second floor unit.

Officials haven’t released any details on what may have happened.
